1. KOKORI TOWNSHIP AREA
kokori is one of the six Agbon sub-clans in ethiope east local government area of nigeria.The other sub-clan are Okpara,Eku,Ovu,Orhoakpor and Igun.
It is a hinterland bounded on the North by Eku and Igun sub-clans;on the east by Ugono,Orhomuru,Erhobaro,Ovara and Idionvwan villages,all in Orogun clan;on the the south by Awirhi in Agbara clan and Odovie,Ofuoma in Ughelli clan;and on the west by Isiokolo and Okpara inland in Agbon clan.Its land area is about 196 square kilometers and th township has six motorable outlet roads viz:- to eku,ugono,orogun,ughelli,isiokolo/oviorie,otsetseri/okpara inland.
There are three streams that dry up in the dry season and they are:-OMWE or Eku road,Iranzo on Orogun road and Erhanaka on kokori/ofuoma road.
Kokori township achieved semi-urban status since 1978 and it has 29 streets and roads, and 30 surrounding village communities.The township is divided into four quarters and comprise the following streets.
a.ALAKA QUARTER:market,egbe,uvwedi,akporoba,ekrose and edeke
b.URHUOKPOKPOR QUARTER:ekrudu,akpojevwe,ekpagha,egbo,ushue,ekrakra,ohwotemu,1st ediagbor and 2nd ediagbor.
c.UMUAWHA QUARTER:1st ekrivie,2nd ekrivie,atagbuwhwe,azo,1st ogo,2nd ogo,ogba,okpe and urhievwurie.
d.NEW SITE QUARTER:south west circular road or sunday odje road,otsetseri road or upper okpe street,okpe hall road,osiegbe road and oghenerhoro road.
